THE STONE
Stone is the oldest and most abused natural element of our planet. It has undergone all the deformations, the transformations, the evolutions and the whims of nature on our planet. This is the reason why many varieties of stones exist and that no stone resembles another. From every score to every crack, the brightness and the consistency differ from one rock to another. Among the ones that interest us we have organized an empirical classification according to the age, origin and characteristics under generic names such as marbles, quartz and basalt.
Natural stone is therefore unique, distinctive through its imperfections, for it was not processed via elaborate techniques mastered by man. Our stones, although classified into groups, show variations, differences and minor imperfections, simply because Nature made them that way.
